Program Goals and Career Opportunities
The Master degree program equips students with in-depth theoretical knowledge of media studies and communication science and provides them with the latest research findings. In addition, students acquire extensive knowledge of empirical social research methods, allowing them to plan and conduct empirical research on their own. The theoretical, methodological and organizational skills acquired in the program, along with their enhanced ability to perform in-depth analysis, observe and reflect, prepare students for conceptual, strategic and executive tasks in a wide range of public communication jobs, including
- applied research in media and communications, market research and opinion polling;
- the evaluation of communication services and media campaigns;
- organizational communications and public relations;
- media management;
- training and further education in the communications and media field.
The program is only offered in German.
