Study Exchanges

The IPMZ - Institute of Publizistikwissenschaft and Medienforschung offers three different possibilities for organising study exchanges in the area of Public Communications and Media Studies at the IPMZ at the University of Zurich:

Socrates-Erasmus program

Universities in several countries in Europe are linked together by this program. The advantage of this program is the simplified process for organising an exchange, students do not need to search for a university place by themselves or pay additional tuition fees. Partner universities for Public Communications are:

In Germany:

• Berlin: Freie Universität Berlin
• Hamburg: Universität Hamburg
• Jena: Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena
• Münster: Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster

In the Netherlands:

• Amsterdam: GG Universiteit van Amsterdam

In Sweden:

• Örebro: Örebro University

In Austria:

• Salzburg: Universität Salzburg
• Vienna: Universität Wien

CH-Uni-Mobil

Students of the University of Zurich have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at another Swiss academy. A convention concerning the mobility between the Swiss universities assures the acknowledgement of semesters, courses and exams. With this program, the administration is minimal because students will stay registered at the University of Zurich and pay tuition fees here.

Exchange at a university of your own choice
