Doctoral Studies
PhD programme
The regulation on doctoral studies is currently devised by the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zurich. In the future there will be a structured doctoral programme at IPMZ. This programme provides doctoral candidates with the opportunity to simultaneously undertake a substantial piece of original research and gain further qualifications though specialised courses (lectures, seminars, summer schools, etc). The doctoral programme amounts to 30 ECTS credits.
The IPMZ has established a structured PhD programme broadly themed "Mediatisation: Challenges organisations, public sphere and media". Internal and external applications are welcome. Supervision will be mainly provided by one of heads of department of IPMZ. More details will be available in spring 2009.
