The library team is available during its opening hours to assist students, staff and other visitors. It provides assistance with catalogue, book and database searches. The reference library provides workstations equipped with personal computers and connections for personal laptops.

10 computer search stations, 26 workstations, 2 copier/printers (black/white and color), WLAN access (for UZH students), network cable available for borrowing (by outside library visitors).

Cards for the copy machine you can get at the IPMZ office or in the library; more value can be added to cards in the student lounge (Room 3.51). The cards are valid anywhere on the UZH campus

Library holdings
Approximately 22,000 items, including around 21,500 monographs and around 100 subscribed periodicals. Many periodicals are accessible online. The library has three special collections: the Wettstein-Weber-Kluge endowment collection, the Klartext archive and the newspaper clipping collection.

No lending – reference library only
Remote lending: no lending. Copies may be ordered.
