Katharina Sommer studied Communication Science and Comparative Literature at the Free University of Berlin. Since 2015, she is a senior research and teaching associate at the in the department “Media Psychology & Effects”. Between 2010 and 2015, she worked as a research assistent at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research (IPMZ). Her main research interests are media reception and effects, persuasion, emotion research, effects of organizational and financial communication.
